Biography

Pedro Ventura was born in 1978, in Alenquer. He completed secondary education and attended the Higher School of Santarém.

Pedro Ventura defines himself as a dreamer. His path has been erratic, with a background ranging from working in a factory to his career as a writer. He took part as a lyricist in the album Capaz, in partnership with the musician Senhor Vulcão, a CD released by Manicómio, the organisation that has represented him since 2018.

As a visual artist, he has participated in several group exhibitions, including: Indutor (LX Factory, Lisboa, 2011), Hospital (Panóptico do Hospital Miguel Bombarda, Lisboa, 2012-13), 1ª Bienal de Fotografia de Ourém (2013), Incómodo (Museu Municipal de Faro, 2020), Limiar da Trilogia (Fidelidade Arte, Lisboa, 2022), Coisas Soltas, com Jorge Molder (Stolen Books, Lisboa, 2022), e Perdido mas não tanto (Casa Fernando Pessoa, Lisboa, 2023). . .
